By creating a Pinghawk account or using the Pinghawk service at pinghawk.io or app.pinghawk.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
Pinghawk is operated by a solo developer. References to "Pinghawk", "we", "us", or "our" refer to the operator of this service.
Pinghawk is an API uptime monitoring service that periodically makes HTTP requests to URLs you configure, monitors SSL certificate expiry, tracks cron job execution, and sends alert notifications when issues are detected.
The service is currently in beta. All plans are free during the beta period. You will receive at least 30 days notice before any charges begin.
When configuring monitors, you agree that:
⚠ Important: Pinghawk sends periodic automated HTTP requests to URLs you configure. Only add URLs you own or have explicit permission to monitor. You are solely responsible for the URLs you configure and any consequences of automated requests to those endpoints.
All Pinghawk requests include a User-Agent header identifying them as coming from
Pinghawk (Pinghawk/1.0 (+https://pinghawk.io)),
allowing third-party operators to identify and block our requests if desired.

Pinghawk is not responsible for any actions taken by third parties in response to automated monitoring requests originating from our service as a result of URLs you have configured.
Pinghawk is currently in public beta. During this period:
We collect and store data necessary to provide the monitoring service, including your email address, configured monitor URLs, check results, and alert history. We do not sell your data to third parties.

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account settings page in your dashboard.
The Pinghawk name, logo, and service are the intellectual property of the operator. Your monitoring data and configurations remain your own. We do not claim ownership over any data you provide to the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pinghawk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Pinghawk does not guarantee that monitoring alerts will be delivered in time to prevent service disruptions, or that the monitoring service itself will be available at all times.
You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings page. All your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, with or without notice.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
